Its back to that A338 corridor leading south out of Salisbury. Another 'road trip' for all of us . Perhaps start in Ringwood at the LONDON TAVERN It stands out by being miles from London and having wonderful events and music and of course buckets of ale. There is a 'garden in which to relax' ! who has time to relax with all those bands to watch.....then back up the A338 to Gorley;Whats the name of the famous pub there? answers on an email please for a free ticket to their next music night. By now its a taxi run. Up the A338 (north) to Fordingbridge for a welcome curry on the roadside at Burgate ....then on to Breamore to call in on the 'local pub of the region' - the Bat and Ball with South African food and a welcome its difficult to beat. Call in at the interesting Cafe in Charlton-all-Saints for an inexpensive coffee to revive you and then on to the great City making for The Cozy Club in New Street. This used to be the Museum and is now a most groovy bar (easy parking in Crane Street with a short medieval stroll to the bar). Taxi firms need to consider this Route A338 as a Saturday night MUST.
Particularily watch out for August Bank Holiday on this marvellous trail
