GREAT LIVE MUSIC AT FORDINGBRIDGE TOWN HALL - FOREST LIVE!

What a great night out that was! Two amazing local duos playing live - Ninebarrow (Jon Whitley and James LaBouchardiere) -beautiful harmonies and lyrics - every song had a story to tell and the audience were mesmerised!... I have heard these two on a couple of occasions before at Wimborne St Giles Acoustic nights in aid of Julia's House http://www.locallydoesit.com/?q=node/28401 and have loved their music from the start. They have only been singing together for a short while and now they are on the bill at the Larmer Tree Festival (Thursday)! How's that for meteoric fame!!

Electro duo, Bim - Rebecca Rosier and Denmark Davis (known as Tim!), played the second set. Lovely moving songs - all new to me - including their first single 'Stay in my Memory', which you can watch on YouTube or go to their website http://www.bimmusic.com/ for downloads and pictures of this exciting duo.

FOREST LIVE - A new venture bringing LIVE music to the New Forest http://www.azanialtd.com/Azania_Ltd/forest_LIVE.html (@ForestLiveMusic) is there to bring exciting local live bands to our attention - do go along to Fordingbridge Town Hall (second Sunday of the month) and support them! Next month it will be the turn of PAPER AEROPLANES http://www.locallydoesit.com/?q=node/28109 'Intimate, jaunty and confident lo-key pop with great melody.' The Guardian. I can vouch for this as their music was playing between acts last night and I, for one, will definitely try and get there.

Hot food, snacks and wine/beer available. Doors open at 7pm, music starts at 7.30pm.
